The Arch of Septimus Severus, dedicated in A.D. 203, still stands amid the ruins of the Forum Romanum.

To the left, the remains of the front entrance to the Temple of Saturn include the oldest surviving structural foundation at the site.

The original temple was likely established around 500 B.C., although the rest of the structure—including the eight columns that stand today—was damaged and rebuilt three times.
