The real-life Curia Julia still stands today within the ruins of the Roman Forum, although the majority of its interior decoration has been destroyed.

The original structure was founded by Julius Caesar in 44 B.C. and completed in 29 B.C. The building went through many renovations, though, and the existing curia likely dates back to the late second century A.D.
