Cancún, Mexico, August 19, 2007—Lightning streaks across Cancún's night sky during a thunderstorm.

Hurricane Dean is expected to make landfall on Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula early August 21. The city began evacuations and arranged for extra flights for tourists to leave before the hurricane's arrival, the Associated Press reported.
