Ciudad Madero, Mexico, August 21, 2007—Workers take down thatched sun shades at the beach near the southeastern Mexican city of Tampico.

Dean, a Category 5 storm, when it hit will lose strength over the Yucatán Peninsula but will likely regain some power before it comes ashore again near Tampico sometime on Wednesday.
