Chetumal, Mexico, August 21, 2007—A car lies under fallen trees after Hurricane Dean came ashore on the Yucatán Peninsula.

Losses due to the hurricane are expected to be between 750 million and 1.5 billion U.S. Dollars, according to the Associated Press.
