Video: Gorillas Executed in Congo Park

August 1, 2007—Three female mountain gorillas and a male silverback were shot, execution style, in the Democratic Republic of Congo's Virunga National Park on July 22nd. (Read full story.)

More than half of all mountain gorillas, estimated at about 700, are found in Virunga, and the recent killings are devastating to the endangered apes' population.
