Orissa, India

Students and artists gathered on Christmas Eve on India's Puri beach to craft a 100-foot-long (30-meter-long) Santa Claus sand sculpture.

India's population is primarily Hindu (about 80 percent), followed by Muslim (roughly 16 percent). But Christianity is India's third largest religion, with Christians making up about 3 percent of the country's billion people.
