Japanese macaques (Macaca fuscata) warm themselves by a bonfire at the Japan Monkey Center in Inuyama, Japan.

The center lights the fires each year to help the primates keep warm during the winter months. In the wild, macaques are known to keep warm by taking a soak in natural hot springs.
