Doha, Qatar

The 15th Asian Games, which feature the continent's best athletes facing off in disciplines ranging from traditional sports such as athletics and swimming to more regional activities such as kabaddi and sepak takraw, began on December 1.

Like the Olympics and the World Cup Finals, the Asian Games are held every four years. The two-week long event is taking place in Doha, Qatar, this year.
