NASA revealed strong evidence this week that liquid water recently flowed on Mars. An image of a gully deposit on the inside of a Martian crater was captured by NASA's Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft. Debris deposits and branches protruding from the bottom of the gully suggest a liquid-driven flow within the past seven years.
