Heads cocked and arms outstretched, a line of bejeweled Maya nobles await the heir to the throne of the city of Bonampakan unsuspecting infant resting in the arms of an attendant at right.

In this mural (shown digitally enhanced), the infant's eye has been gouged out of the artwork, probably to symbolically rob power from the image and the heir apparent depicted.
