St. Helena Parish, Louisiana

Tornadoes tore through the southern United States this week, killing at least 11 people and destroying homes.

James Taylor was in his trailer home in St. Helena Parish, Louisiana—the remains of which are shown on November 16—when it was demolished by a tornado. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The storms swept through Louisiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.
