Packwood, Washington

A house floats down the Cowlitz River near Packwood, Washington, after record rainfall brought heavy flooding to the Northwest U.S. Rising floodwaters caused the Cowlitz River banks to burst, threatening nearly 300 homes and cabins and causing evacuations and damage throughout the area.
