Oregon's Rogue River is popular with both salmon anglers and adventure seekers. This river originates in Crater Lake National Park and flows 200 miles (322 kilometers) to the Pacific Ocean. But the booming population of an upstream valley threatens the water quality of the Rogue, as well as the future of its wildlife, fisheries, and recreational usage.
