Video: New Shark Species "Walk" on Reefs

September 19, 2006—Two new species of small, slender sharks that "walk" along coral reefs have been discovered off the coast of the Southeast Asian country of Indonesia (read the full news story).

The sharks are among more than 50 species new to science that were found during two recent expeditions to the Bird's Head Seascape, a peninsula on the northwestern end of Indonesia's Papua province (Indonesia map).
