June 29, 2006—More than two centuries ago, Paul Revere's midnight ride made Boston's North End the birthplace of the American Revolution.

Today the district is home to Irish-, Jewish-, and Italian-American communities with histories as rich as the gelato you'll find at the corner cafes.
