June 20, 2006—Former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell was one of the keynote speakers at a ceremony held this morning at National Geographic's Washington, D.C., headquarters to commemorate World Refugee Day 2006.

Watch Gen. Powell's address about the vital work of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the importance of "keeping hope alive" for the world's estimated 20.8 million displaced people.
