April 4, 2006—Known in the U.S. as one of the worst scourges in the West, Mormon crickets—technically a type of katydid—are notorious for devouring crops and streaming across highways. Watch as three USDA scientists use tiny radio transmitters to "bug the bugs" and learn more about their habits in the hope of bringing future infestations under control.
