Researcher Lori Homstol tracks bears through a residential neighborhood in Whistler Village, Canada, using radio telemetry.

The Get Bear Smart Society of Whistler collars and tracks bears that come into the village. The local activist group chases visiting bears away, hoping the animals will eventually learn to avoid coming into town.
