February 15, 2006Discovered on a tiny island off Panama in
2001, the pygmy sloth has never been caught on film until now. When
National Geographic photographer Bill Hatcher became the first human
to come face-to-face with one of these Central American mammals, the
sloth took the measure of this momentous occasion and promptly
fell asleep. Now it's your turn to see the pygmy sloth inaction.

National Geographic magazine.
