A swimming dock is reflected in Lake Thun, Switzerland.

"I love this image for its graphic, abstract quality," National Geographic photographer Gerd Ludwig said of this 2004 photo by Jodi Cobb. "By shooting without a horizon, the dock seems to be floating out in the sky."
