Marci Romagnoli, head trainer for the Marine Life Oceanarium in Gulfport, Mississippi, lures a California sea lion into a cage behind the Grand Casino on September 1, 2005. The animal escaped from the facility after it was nearly leveled by Hurricane Katrina.

Most of the sea lions that escaped during the storm have since been rescued. Katrina claimed the lives of at least five of the facility's sea lions—two are still missing.
