March 15, 2005—Six-year-old Norfolk terrier Champion Cracknor Cause Celebre (you can call her Coco) won the Best in Show trophy at the Crufts dog competition in Birmingham, England, on Sunday. As the largest dog show in the world, according to Guinness World Records, the four-day event hosted more than 120,000 spectators this year.

Coco's top dog status is nothing to sniff at. She's the first of her breed to win the 102-year-old contest, and she beat out nearly 22,000 other pooches for the privilege. Among those thousands was Buster, a British Army spaniel named Hero Dog of the Year for bomb sniffing in war zones from Bosnia to Iraq.
