Honoring Native Americans of the Washington, D.C., area, the main lobby and performance space is named for the region's primary river. Limestone wall treatments and granite paving stones connect this indoor space to the outdoors, as does the sunlight that streams in from the 120-foot-high (37-meter-high) skylight.
