Aerial picture of Umm el-Dabadib. When Corinna Rossi, a fellow in Egyptology at the University of Cambridge, first saw Umm el-Dabadib as a tourist in 1996 she was inspired to begin a survey of the archaeological sites in the North Kharga Oasis.
