In addition, faster films, digital editing by photographers in the field, and changing aesthetic tastes have all influenced the photographs that are taken and those that are selected for publication.
The book will be published in 20 languages. What challenges or considerations were there in making the book appealing to a broad, international audience?
The book is very broad in scope and universal in subject. It was conceived from the beginning as a project that would be relevant to an international audience.

Get out there. Photograph a lot. Stay true to your own aspirations. Look at the work of others.
