The changes are most clearly seen in the wildlife photographs. Technology allows photographers to get closer, more intimate shots, to show behaviors not possible to see in earlier times.

In addition, faster films, digital editing by photographers in the field, and changing aesthetic tastes have all influenced the photographs that are taken and those that are selected for publication.

The book will be published in 20 languages. What challenges or considerations were there in making the book appealing to a broad, international audience?
