I began my career in underwater cinematography in 1987 when I assisted French Television in filming Le Souffle du Dragon, a story about the discovery and exploration of a huge underground lake in Namibia. Since then I have worked with many production companies worldwide.

I was a 2002 Primetime Emmy Award-winner in the category "Outstanding Cinematography for Non-Fiction Programming (Single or Multi-Cam)" for work done for The Blue Planet: Seas of Life, produced by the BBC/Discovery Channel.

I assisted with the National Geographic magazines "Inside the Great White" (April, 2000) and "South Africas Teaming Seas" (August, 2002) and National Geographic Televisions Great White, Deep Trouble. I am presently preparing for the South African leg of Be the Creature, a new National Geographic Television series for which I will be the underwater cameraman.
