Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus)

"I had spent a long and frustrating day looking for bull sharks (Carcharhinus leucas) on Aliwal Shoal, off South Africa's east coast. As is normal in this area, schools of bottlenose dolphin had been swimming past us all day. I dropped off the boat in front of an advancing school. On arrival, they were swimming in a tight group near the seabed, so slowly that they seemed to be moving in slow motion. Although they appeared to be oblivious of my presence, they knew exactly were I was. "
