Zoo Atlanta's giant pandas, Yang Yang (left), and Lun Lun, are on loan from the Chengdu Zoo in China. Yang Yang ("little sea") was born on September 9, 1997, and Lun Lun (she was named by Taiwanese rock artist Su Huilin) was born on August 25, 1997.

Researchers are studying the pandas' play behavior and development.
