Diagrams of trackway of previous photograph. The trackway indicates the course taken by the trackmaker and therefore his or her direction with respect to the slope. On either side of the final two footprints, shown in the previous photograph, and also about halfway along the trail, handprints are evident. They probably result from attempts to maintain balance during the difficult descent. Scale bar=1 meter (39 inches)
