Travelling by helicopter and army tank, Spencer Wells visited the Arctic Circle to meet the nomadic Chukchi. Sleeping in a tent made of reindeer hides and eating nothing but reindeer meat, he experienced firsthand the difficulties of surviving in such an intensely cold climate.
