Photo Ark Quiz

What Animal Is Most Like You?

Is your vibe more hippo or koala? Take our quiz to find out which Photo Ark cover animal you resemble.

Our April issue of National Geographic has ten different covers, each featuring a stunning animal from Photo Ark—Nat Geo’s project with photographer Joel Sartore to document the world's 12,000 captive species. So far, he's visited 40 countries and photographed more than 6,000 species with the studio lighting and black-and-white backgrounds that give the collection its iconic look.

Photo Ark aims to inspire people not just to care about the natural world, but also to help protect these animals for future generations. Take our quiz to find out which Photo Ark cover animal is most like you:

This month's cover images were taken at Rolling Hills Zoo, San Antonio Zoo, Zoo Atlanta, Raptor Recovery Nebraska, Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo, Saint Louis Zoo, Lincoln Children's Zoo, Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, and Houston Zoo. All photographs by Joel Sartore.
